Decathlon SE, in its capacity as Data Controller, undertakes to comply with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to data processing, files and freedoms with regard to the automated processing of personal data, as well as Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 from its application on 25 May 2018. Automatically collected data

We collect certain personal data automatically when you visit this site via your browser. This personal data includes, in particular:
● the IP (Internet Protocol) address of the device from which you access the site

Eventmaker CMS

Like most Content Management Systems, Eventmaker stores a certain amount of data natively:
● For logged-in users:
● In the user profile: all profile information (signature (name or username), login and password)
● In user sessions: IP address and other data that is technical, geographic or linked to the configuration of each user.
● For non-connected users: a number of log files. These files may contain the user's IP address. This data is only stored temporarily, as the logs are rotated automatically.


Videos hosted by YouTube

When visiting this site using a YouTube plugin, your browser establishes a connection to the YouTube servers and communicates the web pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube will assign this information to your personal profile. When you use the plugin, by clicking on the start button of a video, for example, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account and deleting cookies before using our website.

Rights and protection of personal data

Data protection

The site is hosted by Eventmaker, which takes all technical, physical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or alteration and against unauthorised access.


Preservation and storage

Our website and your personal data are the responsibility of Decathlon Design as Data Controller and are subcontracted to Eventmaker. All data is stored in databases that are regularly backed up so that it can be restored. We will only store your data for as long as is necessary to provide the service.


Acceptance of our privacy policy

By using our site, you accept the conditions defined in this Privacy Policy page. If you do not wish us to use your information in the manner described, in particular with regard to the use of cookies, please do not use this site.

Policy on the use of cookies

This section explains the origin and use of browsing information processed when you visit our site and outlines your rights. Purpose of processing

Data collected from the registration forms and personal area is used to track your participation in the event:
Send you information before, during and after the event by email and text message, Print your badge and control access to the event, Track event participation statistics.
The main purpose of collecting personal data is to provide you with a safe, optimal, efficient and personalised experience. To this end, you agree that this data may be used to:
● provide and facilitate the operation of services, including by conducting checks on you in order to do so;
● solve any problems;
● prevent, detect and investigate any potentially prohibited and illegal activities;


Access to your data

Only members of the Decathlon Design organisation and its service providers have access to your data.

Participants’ contact details may be collected voluntarily via the registration form:

Retention period

Registration data is kept for a maximum of 30 months following your registration.
Contact data is kept for a maximum of 36 months after the last interaction.
